The school in brief

A CBSE school in Kharar, from Nursery to Class XII

Skonis World School opened in 2019 on NH-205, Kharar-Kurali Road, Backside Doaba College, Kharar. It is a senior secondary school affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE Affiliation No. 1631298, School Code 21289), and today more than 400 families send their children here.

Classes run from Nursery, LKG and UKG through Grade 1 to Grade 12. With one teacher for every 25 students across the school, teachers know each child: how they learn, where they need help and what they are good at.

Results parents can check

Every student passed the Class X and Class XII CBSE board exams in 2025-26. Our affiliation letter, safety certificates, fee structure and results are published in the Mandatory Public Disclosure, as CBSE requires, so you can check them before you visit.

Learning beyond the textbook

The 12,216 m² campus has a double-storey library, robotics, science and computer labs, a music room with keyboards, guitars and drums, a dance lab, an art and craft room and a sports court for skating and cricket. Four School Houses give every student a team to compete, perform and lead with.

Care and safety

Children learn in a building with a valid safety certificate under the National Building Code, with an on-campus infirmary and a valid water and sanitation certificate. Our wellness counsellor, Ms. Sunidhi, runs regular wellness sessions and meets children one to one when they need someone to talk to. The school is recognised under the Right to Education Act, 2009.

Admissions 2027-28

For Nursery a child should be 3 years old on 1 April of the admission year, 4 for LKG, 5 for UKG and 6 for Grade 1; from Grade 2 onward, admission follows the class last passed.
